The city of Sharjah is celebrating the Festival, which is timed to coincide with the holy month of Ramadan

For another month until the end of April, many of the emirate's cities will host the annual event.

At the Festival from March 25 to April 25, locals and travelers will be able to attend a multitude of entertainment and community promotions, win precious prizes, book hotels at discounted prices and purchase branded merchandise with discounts of up to 50-75%.

The 33rd celebration, organized by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is held under the well-known slogan. The main purpose of the festival: to bring family members together in an atmosphere of warmth, love and joy of the delightful holy fast of Ramazan and one of the five pillars of Islam.

Mohammad Ahmed A. Al Awadi, Chief Executive of Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), commented that the festival not only strengthens the economy of the region but also encourages investments in diverse areas. In addition, he stressed the importance of preserving values, heritage and Islamic traditions by organizing such events in modern society.

Ramadan is one of the five pillars of Islam and the holiest month in the Islamic calendar. During this time, Muslims participate in fasting, prayer, spiritual purification and solidarity. A central aspect of Ramadan is the observance of fasting, or saum. It is one of the Five Pillars of Islam and is an obligatory practice for all adult Muslims.
