Rules of entry to Dubai for Russian tourists: plans of authorities
Association of Tourist Operators of Russia informs that since February 3, 2022 the government of the United Arab Emirates has made changes to the regulations for Russian citizens arriving. The corresponding decree also applies to guests from other states.
Due to the changes, Emirates and Flydubai companies inform about the period of activity of PCR-tests. According to the information received, the time period of analysis has been reduced from 72 hours to 48 hours. Data confirmed by tour operators. The Association of Tour Operators of Russia added that the official information on the page of the airport in Dubai remains unupdated (PCR test valid for 72 hours). ATOR suggests that the data will be updated later.
There are no changes for other rules on crossing for citizens of the Russian Federation. Arriving in Dubai visitors need to undergo a secondary free test. Overseas visitors must be on self-exclusion until they receive negative test results. Children under the age of 12 are exempt from the test.
In the case of Russian citizens crossing the borders of Dubai in transit, and provided that they do not leave the airport during the connecting flights, tourists must follow the entry regulations of the country of final destination.
