Dubai announced the creation of green visas for five years
The UAE government has announced the introduction of visas for five years for people with talent or for professionals with a high level of skills. Additionally this includes freelancers, investors as well as entrepreneurs.
Under this project, entry permits will become available for a long period of time. This will occur after the previous visa has passed the process of revocation. At the same time with this permit it is possible to search for work at the official level.
The list of requirements for the candidate include:
- Having a bachelor's degree or its equivalent, with a salary level above AED 15,000;
- Francesters will need to obtain permission for freelance work from the UAE authorities;
- If a person has a degree in the UAE, the income for two years can not be less than 360 thousand dirhams.
Additionally, investors and entrepreneurs were included in the category for obtaining visas for five years. They must participate and develop commercial activities and prove that the contribution to the economy of the United Arab Emirates comes from their side. In case the businessman has several companies, his total income from activities is taken into account.
